Wrath of the Lich King

I was one of those people who purchased the expansion pack on the 13th and spent every free minute of time levelling up my main. I was not one of the dedicated / driven / questionably sane people who tried to power level to hit 80 within days rather than weeks.

Leveling in northrend has been the most fun I've had levelling. It's prettier than anything to date and it hits the vast majority of wow buttons for me. I like that crafting recipes are no longer BoP from instances and raids. I love that tedious rep grinding seems to be pretty much a thing of the past. I'm glad that they've made things easier and more accessible to the casual game. I covet the flying carpet that my other half will be crafting and enjoying shortly. I instantly purchased a war bear and have enjoyed finally owning a bear mount which has a slight 4x4 feel to it.

There were areas that I gravitated towards more so than others. I hated Zul-Drak and the icecrown, love the storm peaks and grizzly hills. The vehicle quests I find either exhilarating or an absolute nightmare if any fighting is involved. I tend to fair very poorly in combat. I'm a great rescuer though - ask me to go and pick up NPC's in distress any time.

It does feel as if the pressure is off and I can breathe a little again. Until I start thinking about leveling my level 70 druid for the arena.

Level 80!
